All standard textures are Vodoo friendly. However there are 512x512 version for optional use. |

Most the time, you have not followed the instructions to prepare the GPL.EXE. Install the 1.2.0.2 patch regardless if your CPU is fast or not. Then patch on top CarSound, BandWidth, ... and then run GEM+.

There is a problem with some NVidia cards and desktop depth set to 32bit. Try 16bit and the problem is gone. This might get fixed with newer versions of the graphic card driver or a newer codec for the movies. |

GEM+ keeps lots of informations about the installation in the GEM.INI. If you have rearanged files in your GPL installation, GEM+ might get confused. Close GEM+, delete the GEM.INI and start again. |

Why does my player not appear in GEM+? |

If your player name has '.'s in it there will be a problem. GEM+ has a bug which means it currently cannot handle these names. For now, Rename your player in GPL to remove the full stops. |

In the most cases the host has not setup the hosting right. Firewall settings and wrong defaults for the Bandwidth Patch prevent GPL to connect to the host. Check the Hosting HowTo for the most vital points to proper host a race with iGOR. |

Yes there will be a Rank. Ed Hut and Brian Wong will work this out, once there are enough times submited and maybe also tracks like Clermond released an rank close to the tracks, that where driven in this special year, will be created. |

In your player directory you will find a file called plac65.ini (just in the same place your player.ini is located). Upload this file with your normal account and GPLRank will take care, that this times are recognized correctly.

No. You can just upload your times using the same account. GPLRank will take care, that the times are stored correctly. |
